Functional Nanomaterials and Thin Film Laboratory

This Laboratory addresses research in interdisciplinary topics with an axis around mechanics-based design and materials science under the influence of geometry .Our very own designed 'Functional Nanomaterial and Thin Film Laboratory' is equipped with advance instrumentation to grow thin films with different techniques and to study various Electrical , Optical , Sensing Properties of different Structural Combinations.Here are a few glimpses of instruments-

Magnetron Sputtering System with DC and RF power source , Four guns are in confocal geometry 

Split Tube Furnace  with a PID controller , with a tuning of temperature upto 1200 degree centrigrade

Spin Coater ,accommodate wafers upto 200mm diameter with a maximum rotational speed of 12000 RPM.

Three Zone Chemical Vapour Deposition system. Maximum temperature of each zone is upto 1200 degree centgrade
